How you Dugan?
I’m Laura Dugan, a communications specialist with over 20 years of experience. I’m here to help you find the right words for all of your communications needs and to have fun along the way.
I have been a professional communications specialist for the entirety of my career and a stage manager on and off since middle school. The two jobs are not very different: both involve being able to get people to do what you need them to do.
I love my family, friends, theater, and cats. In my free time, you will find me watching funny YouTube videos, enjoying McElroy-related content, or reading.
I look forward to meeting new clients and building relationships with existing ones.
Why words?
I learned the power of the written word when I was about eight. That’s when I sent a letter to my grandmother requesting a larger Christmas stocking because mine was “very, very, very, very, very small” and “first grade sized”. My request must have been persuasive enough because my grandmother knitted me a larger stocking, which I hang with pride each holiday season.
Check out my Editing and Writing/Communications pages for more on my background or contact me to chat about how I can help with your communications needs.
My supervisors: J.T.G. “Mac” McElroy and Judge John “JJ” Hodgman, a.k.a The Podcats.
Very persuasive writing.
